Caring is Sharing

The title of this film, inspired by an expression often taught to children, draws on an important question that has emerged during the global pandemic: What is our vision of care and taking care of others? In a movement study during which a body remains hidden behind the camera, the artist allows us to relive her experience of sending food to a neighbor thanks to the use of a bucket and rope hung out the window. In doing so, the artist also questions screendance as a means of sharing kinesthetic experiences and perspectives by transmitting images of the sky as she sees it, her building, and her functional movement worthy of any task-based post modern choreography.
