FIRST KISS tells the story of Carla, 11, who has recently arrived in London with her father after being exiled from Brazil. Through Carla's unique viewpoint - That of a child and an outsider - we are led on a journey into new friendships and misunderstandings as she tries to settle into her new life against the backdrop of London in 1979.
