Brennan is stood up on a first date. He has been in a lot of bad relationships and now he gets to go on a date with the girls he always wanted. The problem is he runs into an old classmate Lauren who he has had his eye on. When things wrong Brennan doesn't want Lauren to see he's hurting so he starts to lie to her. The lies are so far-fetched that she doesn't buy them for a second. Things get worse when Brennan's ex girl friend Tory pops into the picture and brings along her new boyfriend Kent. Scared Brennan's lies get way to out of hand and when Lauren try's to talk to him about what he is saying he looses it on Lauren. He looks back at what he just said to Lauren and decides he has to do what he has never done in his whole life. He has to drop the funny act and revel who he really is.
