Lulu Gurney, a former street youth living in Vancouver, British Columbia, has had her set of battles; overcoming an addiction to drugs including crystal meth, ecstasy, and cocaine is just one of them. Having left her native reserve at 19 and going to the rainy city of Vancouver, Lulu became involved with street drugs for a number of years. It was her perseverance and determination of attaining a healthy lifestyle that attributed to her fight to try and stay clean, and ultimately, resiliency.
