The confrontation between two cops - a former New Orleans policeman named Malcolm Hawkins, who abandoned the city and the force just before Hurricane Katrina hit and a current NOPD detective named Jimmy Bordonaro, who is now investigating Malcolm for a crime he may have committed before he left the city.
