Bongfen, a young woman from Cameroon comes to the U.S as a mail order bride to an American man, Sam. The whole relationship which is initially based on deceit slowly gives birth to a true friendship between these two people who, underneath the lies, share one common truth-the quest for happiness. But the question remains 'What form should happiness take?'
