An essay-film that reconstructs the colourful past of a family of puppeteers (the filmmakers' family) in Paraguay, one of South America's poorest and lesser known countries. Accompanied by a classical guitar soundtrack, the film explores the survival of this art form, celebrates the work, creativity and passion of artists, and captures the universal magic and timelessness of puppetry.
