Maggie, a young woman confined to a state mental hospital is suffering from a deep depression and delusion. She receives and unauthorized visit from her sister to whom she confesses her wish to die. Interrupted by the nurse, Maggie is taken to her psychiatrist appointment where she is forced to question her reality. This includes confronting a murder she doesn't believe she committed.
