Ranjan is back in his hometown after having finished his studies, now he is ready to face the real, brutal and lonely world. He feels lonelier without a friend, with whom it was a different life, away from his hometown. It is hard adjusting to the simple lifestyle of his small town Jorhat, after spending an important section of life in a cosmopolitan city. He doesn't feel that connect nor does he know how to feel any connection now. He wants to get back what he had with Divija, maybe it wasn't platonic after all. But why think, to be in love?
