Imagine waking up to the sound of a burglar rummaging through your house. Only one thing to do - get out. But what if that burglar was the only thing standing between you and your child? When would-be thief Jacob breaks into a quiet suburban home, he's oblivious to the fact that its pregnant owner, Amy, is still there, sleeping off a bout of morning sickness, or that her daughter, Emma is out of sight in the next room. Amy wakes to find herself embroiled in her worst nightmare - she and her daughter are trapped with no easy escape. Amy's altercation with the intruder leaves her with devastating injuries.
