This award winning series was aired on Hum Television Network. It is known as the longest running television series in Pakistan, which had a run of almost a hundred and fifty episodes over a span of eight years, while maintaining viewers interest, production quality and ratings. It was further sired on Zee Colours and Zee5 and narrated by Kirron Kher. It is a compilation of satirical stories of many women around us, which highlight the status of women within a patriarchal society and bring out the lesser known facade of their lives and emotions of various women across age and class, who are bound by the society's idea of them and fettered by its expectation. The series became very popular due to the realistic aspect targeting on women, the facade they have to put on to survive in this society, their issues, pain, loss and grief, yet still giving the message of hope and strength that defines a woman.
