Sanathoi (Bishesh Huirem), a transgender is barred from going to school, is even seen as a curse and an object of ridicule by her/their family and the society around her/them. She/They encounters another major trans-phobic incident. Her/Their friend Ayeengbi (Ethoi Oinam) encourages Sanathoi to fight for her/their rights and strongly face anything that comes in the way. It's not a mutation, but rather very much like the genetic regions that determine the color of your hair."Bishesh Huirem, a celebrated transgender actress from Manipur and also the first Trans woman to represent India at Miss International Queen Pageant essayed the leading role in the film.Ethoi Oinam, Chakpram Rameshchandra (Edhou), Sophia Sapam are playing the major supporting characters in the film.The film was nominated in many categories and won several awards including Best Filmmaker For A Cause and Jury's Special Mention Award at various national and international level short film festivals.
