Working during the day and practicing Kenjustu (' Japanese Swordmanship') at evening, a Japanese-American man yearns for the opportunity to put his sword to its intended use. A low budget film shot in DV, KIRU (Japanese for 'to cut'), is a riveting drama that takes the viewer on a journey inside the mind of a man whose desire to 'cut flesh' slowly becomes his obsession.
