Peter, a talented actor in Hollywood is struggling to prove to his heard-headed father that one day he can become the big established actor he always dreamed of being. Drifting away from his worried father to avoid reaching a larger emotional detachment, Peter finds an escape through the tiny notes he finds while having his Chinese food, in fortune cookies. This leads him to finding out that those notes seems to be predicting a successful future for him, until one fortune cookie predicts an unpleasant happening that may involve his father.
