The 517th Paratrooper Team was one of only two independent paratrooper units to fight in WWII. This is the story of the men who served in 5 major campaigns. Told exclusively from the men who fought including Ret. Lt. General Richard Seitz, who was the youngest battalion commander to serve in WWII. Also featured is local veteran Hunter McDonald. These men jumped into combat from 700 feet into the Invasion of Southern France onto the Battle of the Bulge. They had a casualty rate of 75%.
