A reclusive inventor named Lefty McFadden has created a new drug that transports it's user to a magical alternate world. In order to test his new concoction, he has recruited a young drifter named Clay. What Clay does not realize is that he is about to go on a journey through a psychedelic maze from which he may never escape.
