After a nuclear war, Mary decides to commit suicide to end her too-long loneliness, isolated in a bunker. However, just before she pulls the triggers, she received a radio call, from another Bunker. They learn to know each other, and he reveals to her that the Ragnarok Project ha been launched : orders have been given to eradicate all remaining irradiated life on earth, to let only pure survivors live and start over.
