A young composer, Max, takes a job recreating an ancient piece of Greek music for an elderly archeology professor. He soon finds that the music has strange hypnotic qualities and is perhaps even magical. As the peice grows close to being finished Max finds that he must choose between his enthatuation with the music, his wife and his loyalty to the professor.
