A Shade to Never Sit In

Derek Carden is a twenty-five year old recovering drug addict, attempting to put the pieces of his life back together. When in rehab, he meets Lucas, a struggling man in a similar dilemma. The two form a friendship and seem well on their way to full recoveries and new lives. But when a good friend from Derek's past resurfaces in an unimaginable and horrific way, Derek must decide between the loyalties of friendship and the price of morality.
