Filmmaker Robert Swartz inherited Toronto taxi license #138 from his grandfather, and is on a quest to find out what it means to own this same license 40 years later. We meet the new immigrants that drive it and the businessmen who manage it. We also meet a few unique taxi professionals who teach Robert that his taxi license ownership is the cause of the cultural and political turmoil within the industry.
