Medusa Deli tells the story of two friends. Andrew puts everything he has into his business and artwork, to the detriment of his social life. It seems he's got everything figured out, until his ex-girlfriend and a mysterious new woman upset the balance. Meanwhile, Andrew's carefree roommate Nick has problems of his own. He has promised to fly across the country to visit his daughter for her fifth birthday, but unexpectedly loses the money set aside for his plane ticket. The action centers around the Medusa Deli, Andrew's sandwich cart struggling on the outskirts of Portland's street food boom.
