Part one of a sci-fi series, the year is 2148, an Ambassador of the New World has been murdered. An operative, Detrix Fyles, has been released from a military prison due to immunity, to investigate a government conspiracy that can break an alliance and cause a war with extraterrestrials. Detrix is sent on an operation to hunt down a government test subject turned rogue and responsible for the Ambassador's murder. He carries the secrets of an experiment used on soldiers that can put his life at risk.
