Lucir Y Sombra is based on a Latin American folktale and the studies of alchemy about the creation of the sun and moon portrayed as brother Lucir and sister Sombra. While attempting to find a substitute for their affections, they both uncover more treacherous desires, which lead to turmoil and an eventual fulfillment of their destinies; serving as Sun and Moon.
