In the classic style of American detective yarns, Catch Perfect follows a disgraced police detective, Justin Beasly, who is now working as a private investigator. He is called in by a notorious criminal and professional loan shark to investigate the death of his brother, the corrupt police chief responsible for his discharge from the force. But the chief played some dirty games and his involvement in criminal rings makes it a dangerous but intriguing case. Not to mention the presence of the chief's estranged wife, who may have other interests in mind.
