After a big fight, a young couple engage in an important talk over a glass of wine . The young woman is lost in her thoughts, contemplating her grandmother who is gradually fading into dementia. As she comes to a point of reckoning with her partner, she also comes to some important realizations about the inevitable aspects of growing old, with or without someone by her side.
