Blinded by love is an urban drama that takes place in the Bronx in the streets of New York City during the school semester on the campus of Lehman College. In this story we meet a young couple by the name of Jose and Destiny. Destiny has hopes and dreams to become a famous hip hop dancer and Jose has some what of a dream to become a famous basketball player. In this story we learn about the young couples romance and issues faced with domestic violence and anger. Jose coming from an alcohol abuse household carries the burden of being the only child and exposed to his parents act of violence and drug use. This behavior he lives with at home only leads him to poor decision making, anger outrages, and leaving Destiny as the victim to this behavior. With no family to turn too the only support Destiny has is her friends whose decision for her best interest is her last option. Soon shortly Jose's anger issues soon begin to turn their once loving relationship into acts filled with domestic violence disputes. Just like any other violent relationship the abuse goes from smacks into acts of physical abuse. Destiny is then shortly forced into making the decision of standing by his side or dealing with her fear of being alone. As time goes on a new interest comes around campus by the name of Anthony who is also a young college student and will do anything to make Destiny his new love interest. The question is: Does Destiny want to find true love or does she rather stay in a relationship that is filled with anger, abuse, and confusion?
