Young Mariell has long known about her mother's dark and sad past. Her search and wish for a confrontation leads her to the bar Ophelia. Here Mariell heads face to face with her prejudice and expectations about her mother's past. The world appears much less black-and-white than she first thought and she learns that any human being is host to both dark and bright forces and strong and weak features.
