Casey lost his mother to a fatal disease now forced to deal with his abusive drunken father. Casey decides to escape his life in the big apple, and move down south to get his college education. Turning away from everything he knows, he finds himself working on a farm with an old cowboy, and his young daughter Alex. These three people may have been lost, but will now find their way through each other.
