This film is about Walter Bithers, a 20-year-old lay-about who is almost always unemployed and can't pay his bills. One day he is walking home after being fired again when he gets struck by lightning. After that he realizes that he has control over electronics and can steal money from ATMs. He thinks that he can improve his life by stealing, but in the end his girlfriend leaves him, he is still unemployed and his powers go out of control.
