A female corporate executive and a male bike courier are the sole occupants of an elevator traveling up to the thirty-third floor of an office tower. The elevator gets stuck at floor twenty-eight. Although their career positions and their gender may be factors in their inequalities in real life, in a confined elevator alone for an extended period of time they find that they are on equal footing, especially as they unravel from their predicament.
