Seoul, Lost
An aspiring 23-year-old, Yesseul, believes that the only way she could pursue her dream of becoming an acclaimed singer is to move to the U.S.A., where 'people care about the talent more than the looks.' After being rejected at an audition, crestfallen, Yesseul wanders around the city of Seoul when Francis, an American tourist approaches her to ask for a cigarette. Two strangers who share completely different cultural background, stroll around the old streets in the heart of Seoul, a cosmopolitan city where indelible traces of Korean history reside. As they walk along, Yesseul tells Francis of her zeal to move to the U.S.A.. However, Francis, a 25-year-old Burmese-American, expresses doubts in her plan and unveils his experiences of being an immigrant in America ...
