Ildefonso, an old man over seventy, rests on the old bed in his cottage. The room is clean and tidy. The farm tools hanging from a beam have gathered a layer of dust, showing they have not been used in a long time. Suddenly, a window pane vibrates within its frame, which brings Ildefonso out of his motionless state. While repairing the window, he visualizes the piece with which he braced it before. This piece alters his inner passivity.
