Awoken

Owin, a research neurologist, and Karin, an accomplished author, is very much in love. On the night Owin plans to secretly propose to her, they get into a horrific accident, leaving Karin in a deep coma. In depression and regret, Owin drowns himself with his research in hopes to revive and wake Karin up. With Karin's health rapidly degrading, Owin must decide to sacrifice everything if he ever wants to be with her again...even if it means entering the Coma Realm himself. Awoken is a short feature film that combines romance, drama, and fringe sci-fi. The emotional journey of Owin will make you contemplate the questions and possibilities of love, purpose, faith, and life beyond this one.
