Young Alice and her mother take a raucous midnight trip to the Brooklyn Bridge. Quickly the mood turns sour when Alice comes face to face with her mother's slipping grip on reality. With traffic and the East River flowing beneath, Alice falls asleep in her mother's arms. In a dream state, Alice's subconscious alerts her to the awful truth of her mother's insanity and the danger that awaits her... if Alice ever wakes up.
