Persistence Of Vision is the story of an artist's nightmare. C (Creator), a painter, has twenty dollars to his name. D (Destroyer), an art dealer, sees an opportunity and offers to help. D drops in on C's painting sessions and begins to preview and sell C's paintings to A and B, art collectors who are competing with each other to buy C's work. The personal and professional dynamic between C and D that follows involves sex, theft, drugs, psychological torture, rape, murder and cannibalism - followed by a coda in which the characters reverse roles and start again.
