Doggy Love

Aslan is a 40-year-old man who is in love with Yassi, a 38-year-old woman. Yassi has never given a clear answer to Aslan's emotional requests and thus their relationship is complex, uncertain, and full of conflict. They have been working to support dogs in the suburbs of Tehran for 6 years and run a shelter with 250 dogs. Their complex personal relationship, and their struggles to care for their shelter dogs is further exacerbated by the economic crisis in Iran due to the Covid 19 pandemic and international sanctions.
