By Any Other Name is a coming of age story of a young man with Down Syndrome as he navigates the tricky waters of friendships, women, and relationships. Jared lives in Chicago with his brother and works at a bookstore. One day he meets his new co-worker, Marissa, and becomes immediately infatuated with her. To Both Jared and Marissa's surprise, they develop a meaningful, caring friendship that comes with it's share of complications, but means a great deal to both of them.
