How does a family deal with death? This hard process can be exacerbated when a family doesn't function like it should. Such is the case when Daphne, a young teenager, goes to live her grandmother, Ashling, whom she's never met. As Ashling gets to know her, she is forced to confront the image she has of her daughter, Julia, Daphne's mother. Generations is a story about regret and forgiveness, of others and oneself.
