Myrihandes

On the jagged tops of an ancient crater stand erected the Three Cities, last refuges of the Men of this world. In the city of Ostacle live Sisam and Helya, a young boy and a young girl, who share an extraordinary friendship. One night, as they were playing together as usual, a strange light starts to come out of their hands and envelop them. They have no idea of what is happening and no time to think ahead : dark masked men suddenly appear from out of the night and kidnap young Helya. Fifteen years later, Sisam finally finds her, as she is being hunted down by soldiers. Forcefully adopted by the Governor of Threece, she has never forgotten Sisam and uses the occasion of the anniversary of the Three Cities, celebrated in Ostacle, to make her escape. Ecleyes, the last Curator of the Ostacle Temple where they find refuge, tells them that they are in fact two Soulmates, capable of becoming a Myrihande : a unique and complete being, two souls united as one in a single, perfect and androgynous body. A divine creature considered only a mere myth. Alas, Myrihandes are not allowed to live in freedom. Under the authority of a distant lord named Kryom, the Governors of the Cities have always inflicted terrible oppression over the Soulmates so that no Myrihande shall ever rise again. Caught in the crossfire of Hemeroth, Captain of Ostacle responsible for their capture, and the Felinides, terrifying bloodhounds of Kryom, Sisam and Helya are precipitated despite themselves into the turmoil of a revolution, led by the mysterious Guild of New Life. Now they must learn the whole secret of the bond between them. Because only the ancient power of the Myrihande living within them will be able to save their love and that of all the prisoners of the Three Cities...
