A man kills a robber in his apartment to save his girlfriend's life. Even though he acted in self-defense, he can't help but feel guilty for what he did. The more he questions his actions the more distant his girlfriend and him become. As the guilt overwhelms him, he questions his ability to love as well as whether a violent act can ever be the right thing to do.
