Chico is a young immigrant living with his grandmother in Houston. He struggles to take care of her while dealing with his own heroine addiction. A simple man trying to survive in a world that he cannot understand. A lonely man whose life changes after going on a date with a mysterious girl (Chica). At the end of their date she gives him her tears. The tears release all the pain Chico carries inside, causing a reaction in the way he feels and perceives his surroundings. By the end of the evening, Chico's reality is spinning out of his control. He does not know what is real and what is not.
