Set in an alternative near future, action heroine, Athena Krieg, must battle hordes of genetically engineered flesh-eating bacteria that have been unleashed upon Los Angeles by the Soviet Union. Superior Firepower is an animated short (7 min) that combines 2D and 3D animation in a manner that blends together comic book and video game aesthetics as a tribute to jingoistic Cold War era science fiction films and the simplistic video games of the 1990s.
