The New Burlesque

The New Burlesque is a documentary short about the revival of burlesque in the avant-garde art world. The audience is largely women and the performances mostly camp, but also sexy and fun! The movie features the performers of Sugar Shack Burlesque a Downtown New York performance group that takes their show on the road to venues around the US and Europe. Shot in DC, at The Red Palace in November 2010.
