In the Middle

At a small town diner in the middle of nowhere a waitress has to serve a table of annoying college girls on their way to the beach. Thinking they've found a quaint little slice of Americana, the girls pass the time playing games and telling jokes, all while trying to engage the waitress who just wants her shift to end. She endures their condescension until she can't take anymore, realizing that her life is the game and her pain is the joke.
