A multicultural girl's inner struggle is personified by an American bully Mary and an innocent Latina Maria. As Mary rejects and teases Maria's culture, Mary feels Maria's pain and realizes the wrong in her actions. In the end, Mary finds that it better to accept Maria only to find a surprise in Maria's identity.
