Hazel goes missing in a small Scottish community. The TV interviews show concerned neighbors and devastated friends. Weinstein the village loner slowly breaks down the web of lies that have held the community together. The shock is who did it, the horror is what they do to her and the surprise is the involvement of the man who claimed to love her the most (Weinstein) and his unwitting betrayal.
