'Hypnagogia' is a psychological drama about a divorced father and his sulky teenage son. The father has been institutionalized because of a mental illness that broke up his marriage, but is now medicated and feels ready to spend some time with his son. In an attempt to reconcile the broken trust, the mentally ill father takes his son camping in a remote forest. But a weekend in the wilderness doesn't exactly sound like a good time to the video gaming son, who lives with his mother. The father is well prepared and in spite of his son being cross, he is making a great effort to make this bonding trip successful. However, the father's illness relapses and his dream of reconciliation takes a fatal turn and ends in a nightmare. Or is it the son who has now lost it, maybe mental illness runs in the family?
