A bride had arrived to the USA from Pakistan for an arranged marriage with a Pakistani American man. They met on their wedding night for the first time. Kareem expected his new wife to be a 'good Muslim girl,' only to find out Rozina was known as a 'whore' back in Lahore. She asserted that idea was sexist because she was in control of her sexuality. Kareem became shocked and disgusted with her. Rozina felt unfairly judged by her new husband and was alone in a foreign country. She vowed not to let him control her life.
