Other Women's Narratives is a collaborative creative documentary. It is a journey to the inconspicuous aspects of life of three women who emigrated to Greece the last 15-20 years. A name, a job, a family celebration and a daily city downtown walk become extraordinary vehicles of personal insights, while subtly touching issues of immigration, foreignness, the flux of identities and the idea of being one 'other', a 'stranger'. What is exceptional though about this work is that women's personal narratives are visualized with images shot by them, a practice inspired by the techniques of participatory video, which in overall, stimulated in them a more personal and dedicated involvement.
