Baby Ruth

Baby Ruth is about a young man who must decide whether to flee or to be a father. One winter night, hours after Joe is forced to drop out of school to support his new life, his pregnant girlfriend, Sandra, is craving chocolate and begs Joe to find some. He reluctantly leaves and finds himself on an unexpected journey that leads him to question whether he wants to return. While out, he comes face to face with the life he could be leading if he wasn't soon to be a father. The disconnect between the life Joe leads and the life he wants is further represented by the use of dual screen, sometimes showing different views of the same scene, sometimes showing one reality and one imagined, and other times taking us through Joe's memories and associations between past and present.
